THE MAKING OF MONTEVIDEO

Using maps, original drawings, old postcards, and historical documents, Liz tells the story of the making of Montevideo as you explore the Old City, its buildings and museums, and enjoy the anecdotes that bring the past to life again.

The tour takes two hours and can be enjoyed walking, in a chauffeured car, by minibus or by bus.

Walking Tour - approx. 2 hours

So, for example, the charge for a 2-hour walking tour for 6 people would be US$ 160, and if that group of 6 wanted an extra hour, the total cost for three hours would be US$ 210

 

Driving Tour by car, with a maximum of 3 people. Cost includes your guide and the hire car.

There are two options for a Driving Tour (approx. 4 hours) for larger groups: Up to 12 people in a modern, comfortable, air-conditioned minibus Up to 22 people in a luxury, air-conditioned bus with onboard WC.
